Attention students and parents, as the cold months are among us motivation to practice is something we might be lacking. Fortunately our 100 Day Music Challenge starts Thursday February 26th and ends on Friday June 5th. Students that practice everyday during the challenge will receive a trophy and certificate of participation. As the goal of this music challenge is teach students music appreciation we consider “practice” intentionally listening to music, exploring your instrument, singing to a song, and general awareness of music around you.
Try changing what you do every day. Consider dedicating a few days a week to your instrument, a day to reading through music, a day just for listening to your pieces, and a day to enjoy music. If you mix it up daily you might just learn something new!
